Gallery 266: Tutu Reflections Actually I don't like the floor in my flat so much. The fake marble pattern can look quite dirty and distracting in pictures. But in the recent Galleries 263, 260 and 254 I've noticed in some images there is a nice shine on the floor. So I have tested different lighting settings to achieve the best mirroring and gave the floor a thorough cleaning with a high-gloss floor detergent. The mirroring is still weak, therefore the shadows from my body must overlay the reflection in order not to fade the mirroring. The only way I could handle this is to face the flashes agains the walls behind me and not to light up the mirror image too much. After some tests I think this is the best I can do. The reflections add another interesting component to the images, which I really like. What do you think? Comments appreciated! ... please check the news page and write a comment in my guestbook!
